Showvee on a TV: the home screen with a live preview, now and next, shortcuts and recently watched channels
Showvee on a phone: the player on top and the channel list under it

Bring the playlist you already have

Showvee comes with no channels. Add the details from the TV service you subscribe to, and Showvee sorts out the rest: groups, the TV guide, catch-up, films and series.

Add as many as you like and switch between them with one press. Each one remembers its last channel.

Looking for an IPTV player for Firestick or Google TV and Android TV, or an app to replace a MAG box?

Showvee is a player only. It contains no channels or other content. Use it only with content you have the right to watch.

Showvee on a TV: Add with your phone, with a QR code and a code to type at showvee.com/p
The showvee.com/p page on a phone: the form for a portal address and MAC address, with Send to my TV

Type on your phone, not with the remote

Portal addresses and passwords are slow to enter with arrow keys. On the TV, choose Add playlist › Use your phone and scan the code. Fill in the form on your phone, and the TV connects by itself.

Your details are encrypted on the phone with a key that’s part of the QR code. showvee.com passes on text it can’t read, and deletes it as soon as your TV has it.

A look around

Real screens from Showvee 1.9 on a Google TV and a phone, playing the showvee.com demo playlist.

Live TV

The picture stays put. Everything else slides in.

Press OK and the channel list opens over the picture, with what’s on now and next. Your groups are one press to the left, with Favourites always first. Type a number to jump to a channel, or go straight back to the last one.

  • Most channels start in about a second
  • Now and next on the channel banner, and reminders for later programmes
  • Choose what each remote key does on live TV

TV guide and catch-up

See what’s on, and what you missed.

Switch on the TV guide for a full grid from your provider, or from any XMLTV link. Where your provider records programmes, catch-up plays them, and Start over takes the programme on now back to its beginning.

  • Guide data from portals, Xtream logins and XMLTV
  • Past programmes in the guide play from catch-up

Films and series

Films and series, with the details filled in.

When your provider’s page has no plot or cast, Showvee looks the title up at Wikipedia and Wikidata (films) or TVmaze (series, with Wikipedia when TVmaze doesn’t know the show), straight from your TV, and credits them on the page. Pick up where you stopped; for series, Play chooses the right next episode.
