Other ways to install

If Downloader isn’t an option, any of these work too. The app file is always at showvee.com/get.

Send it from your phone

Apps that send files to a TV over your home Wi-Fi work well: install the same file-sending app on your phone and on the TV, download Showvee on the phone, and send the file to the TV.

On the TV, the file-sending app needs permission to install apps — the same Install unknown apps switch as in the Fire TV, Google TV and Android TV guides.

From a computer (ADB)

Turn on developer mode on the TV (see the guides above), then turn on ADB debugging (Fire TV) or USB debugging / network debugging (Android TV) in Developer options.
Find the TV’s IP address in its network settings.
On a computer with Android platform-tools, download the app from the download page and run:
```
adb connect 192.168.1.50:5555
adb install -r Showvee-1.9.20.apk
```
Replace the address with your TV’s. Accept the “Allow debugging?” question on the TV the first time.

From a USB stick

On a TV or box with a USB port: copy the app file to a USB stick, plug it in, and open the file with a file manager app on the TV. The file manager needs permission to install apps.

Check the file

The download page lists the SHA-256 checksum of the current version. Only install Showvee from showvee.com.
